The law firm of O'Brien & O’Brien, P.C., conducts a general practice of law in the Denver-metropolitan area. Our firm was formerly known as Tezak & O'Brien, P.C.
The firm is comprised of Kevin J. O’Brien and Michael J. O'Brien, who have a combined 40+ years of experience in the law. We strive for excellence and pride ourselves in being well qualified in the legal areas in which we practice. We assist our clients in their plans for success and growth, but can apply our experience in persuasion, negotiation, and legal action for clients when necessary.

Kevin J. O'Brien
Attorney
Kevin was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, March 19, 1955; Admitted to Colorado Bar 1980. Member: Arapahoe County Bar Association, Colorado Bar Association (member, Section on Real Estate Law). Kevin's practice areas include: Corporate law and business organizations; contracts; construction law; real estate law and leases; estate planning/wills & trusts; probate and estate administration.
Education: King’s College (B.S. 1977); Duquesne University and University of Denver (J.D., 1980); University of Colorado at Denver (M.B.A., 1987).
Michael J. O'Brien
Attorney
Mike was born in Littleton, Colorado on October 22, 1988. After graduating from Colorado State University in 2011, Mike worked in sales for the Sherwin-Williams company until 2018. Mike worked at Winston & Cashatt, Lawyers in Spokane, Washington from 2019-2021. After graduating Cum Laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2021, Mike moved back to Colorado to join O’Brien & O’Brien, P.C. Mike’s practice areas include: Corporate law and business organizations; contracts; construction law; real estate law and leases; estate planning/wills & trusts; probate and estate administration.
Education: Colorado State University, Bachelor of Sciences in Business Administration, 2011.

Corina C. Black
Legal Assistant/ Paralegal
Corina was born in Chicago, Illinois and has worked in many areas of law and law firms over more than 30 years including the Chicago and Denver areas. She supports this firm where necessary in all facets of the practice on a part-time basis.
Education: William Rainey Harper College, Associate degree - Legal Administration 1981; Louisiana State University, B.S. Science (Finance) 1988. Corina also owns and runs her own business (a martial art academy since 1990 in Lakewood, Colorado) as the Chief Instructor. She has also taught self-defense, leadership, etc. in various schools and area businesses for many years.
